What you can do with FTI flowers...

Thank you SO much to Sue and Karen from Kindred Kollections in Toowoomba 0437230127 for sending through this gorgeous owl that they made with FTI flowers.

   

This is from Sue:

We made this 16" x 20" canvas for a dear friend of ours and were so proud of it we thought we would share it with you.  She loves red, black and white and is absolutely owl crazy.  This was inspired by something we saw by Angela Peardon (a local girl here in Toowoomba).  Ours has turned out completely different to what we originally saw.  The Birthday card is an original creation, once again using your flowers.

 

We used approximately 10 x 6" Black flowers, 4 x 6" Red flowers, 6 x 6" White Flowers, 6 x 4" Black, 10 x White 2" flowers,  and 2 x 2" red flowers on the canvas.  Every flower, excluding the 2" flowers, we cut away each petal individually and glued individually.  My husband made the feet using copper wire, burning them and then coating with clear varnish to complete.

* We will contact you on the Thursday/Friday before the class to charge your credit card for the class fee

* Please do us the courtesy of cancelling an appointment.  48 hours notice cancellation is required in order to give those on the waiting list an opportunity to attend.  If the notice is not given, the class fee will not be refunded

* If you do not turn up on the day, we will happily send out the class kit to you, however your credit card will not be refunded for the class fee

Emeline's Layouts

 

This rhyme keeps ringing in my ears i just had to lay them out on a layout ! I used FTI's raw alphabet chipboards for a fun mix.

 

The jumbo brown flower is the highlight of the purse ! It is so pretty in this unique color!
I laced the edge of the purse with lace and brown velvet ribbon. These are attached using double sided tape. Stitching can be used as an alternative.

 

I absolutely love the colour combinations of aqua + brown !i wanted to showcase the pretty ribbons, hence i arranged them in a linear vertical manner and embellished with flower chipboards.

 

 

The puzzle design is an extension of my journaling/ title. it is our hope for our son that all things all into place nicely (if not perfectly) for him in his life path.I used my children's jigsaw puzzle and traced the pattern onto pattern paper and cut out the shapes. I layered FTI's rub ons to bring out the fabulous colours on the rub ons.

Papercrafts Festival in Sydney

Creative Living Media has been involved in a major restructure of all the Paper Crafts Festivals to ensure they meet the changing demands of exhibitors and the public.

We are excited to announce two Paper Crafts Festivals will be conducted in the next twelve months.

Sydney Paper Crafts Festival
31st October to 2nd November, 2008
New Venue: Canterbury Racecourse

The change in the Sydney venue from Penrith Panthers to Canterbury Racecourse occurred because the Pavilion has not been refurbished and Panther’s cannot commit to bookings that may impact on future use for the area.

The obvious choice for an alternative venue was Canterbury Racecourse. It is close to the demographic centre of Sydney and there is ample free parking. Good public transport is available, both by bus and rail. Visitors using Canterbury Station will have a courtesy bus service. The venue also has an excellent catering outlet that has a wide variety of food and refreshments.

• A special area has been set up for Make and Takes.
• Courtesy bus from Canterbury Station.
• Multi-day passes.
• The Creative Kids stand will continue to introduce kids to the world of creative paper. This will ensure Mum’s are free to shop, while we educate the next generation.
